I closed out 2014 doing what I love…newborn photography. I had one last newborn session on New Year’s Eve and afterwards, as I was uploading the images to my computer, I decided to look back on all of my 2014 newborn sessions and put together a collage. It is always fun to look back and pick some of my favorite images from the year’s sessions. 2014 was good to me and a bit of a transition year. Both of my kiddos are now in school all day and so I found myself with a lot more time to devote to my business this fall. I tried out a few different things to better prepare me for a “full-time”business in 2015. I say “full-time” because the last few years I’ve worked more then full-time hours on my business even though I was tending to little ones at home. It is a tough balancing act and I know it will continue to be a challenge but I am super excited to be able to devote more time to my business during the week and have more of a “normal” work schedule! I just know 2015 is going to be a big year for SUP!
This year also had me working with the wonderful team over at The Moms Magazine (formerly Babyourself) on more issues. One of my business goals was to have one of my newborn images published and that happened this fall with the Holiday issue of The Moms Magazine. I photographed a precious baby boy and his beautiful mama for the cover and I love how everything came together for this issue. You can check that out on their website: here.
I am so very grateful to do something that I love for a living. SUP will be going into our 6th full year in business and I cannot thank all of my clients enough for continuing to trust me to capture their most precious memories. THANK YOU so much! I love what I do and I hope that it shows in the images I take.
Here are the precious babies I was able to photograph in 2014. January is already shaping up to be super busy and I can’t wait to meet many more babies in 2015!
