For this week, we decided to focus on bokeh. What is bokeh, you ask? From Wikipedia: In photography, bokeh is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out- of-focus areas of an image, or “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light”. I LOVE bokeh. Some of my favorite images are shot wide open with that creamy bokeh in the background. This is all done in-camera and some lenses give better bokeh then others. I met up with Tampa Bay baby photographer and my dear friend, Teresa Wilds earlier this week to hang out with our kiddos and do a little shooting. As is usually the case with photographers, both our kiddos were just not in the mood to help us get this done! We are at such a great location too. *sigh* So, while I didn’t get exactly what I was hoping for, I did get this image where the trees made for some pretty bokeh. 🙂 This was with the 70-200mm L which I got to try out thanks to Teresa. FAB lens!
