A couple of weeks ago, I made the trip up to Philadelphia to attend Joyce Smith’s An Extraordinary Workshop. There is always so much to learn with photography and I was thrilled to be able to learn from Joyce. I’ve known her for several years and have seen her launch and build a successful photography business. She took some beautiful portraits of my daughter when she was just turning 2 and I will always treasure them. In fact, they still adorn my walls today. 🙂 This was my first trip to Philadelphia and I loved it! The Wayne Hotel and the town surrounding it were so charming and I wish I could’ve stayed longer to just go around and explore.
It was a weekend full of inspiration, learning and sharing with my peers. Just being able to bounce ideas off of others who truly GET my love of photography was worth it. We got to meet several of Joyce’s beautiful clients who were nice enough to come by the studio and be our little models.
Here are a few images from our sessions.
Thank you Joyce for being so generous, open and such a great teacher! I couldn’t have chosen a better workshop for my first experience. xoxo
